Something to ponder about.

Here are some questions worth pondering about:

1. If one day you feel like you no longer belong here, would you stay, or would you leave?

2. If you were given freedom of choice and your choices will not affect anyone but yourself, how would you choose?

3. If you are rich, would you still have chosen your current career path?

4. Is it worth holding on to someone who's constantly disappointing you?

5. Are you living your life exactly like how you want it to be?

6. Are you HAPPY?

7. If you have a time machine in hand, would you use it to change anything in your past?

Here are my answers to those questions:
1. I don't know. I think I would linger on for a while, then leave. Though it may be tough.

2. I'd choose the path which makes me happy.

3. No. I would travel around the world and enjoy myself. I'd probably pick up some new skills too. Been wanting to learn piano for quite some time now 😞

4. This question really depends on the individual. I constantly have battles with myself on whether to hold on to someone who constantly disappoints me. It seems like i'm very stubborn cause i end up going back to them after telling myself i won't. Sigh. Sometimes I'd really like to give up just to end the misery.

5. No. Not at all. Partly because i'm not really sure how I want my life to be. But it certainly isn't how it is now.

6. No. Mainly because of the people around me. It's getting harder and harder for me to tolerate them. I sense my change. I am somehow easily angered lately. Not sure if it's PMS but I don't like this change.

7. Nah, I probably won't. I believe that we learn something from every incident, good or bad. It is certainly an experience that teaches you at least a thing or two.

2013 / 2014

A new year has begun once again. Time flies, it's February already. I can still remember sitting for SPM just 3 months ago. And now i am studying in college and fearing the SPM results which will be announced in March (most likely 20th March).

2013 has been a year with ups and downs for me. Some happy, some unhappy moments. I bonded with some friends and most probably ruined one friendship. I would admit that I may have made some cruel decisions during the past year but unfortunately, that is my character. I may be easily shaken at times but i stand by what i strongly feel is right. The past few years in my high school life has certainly changed me in many ways, in ways that i've never imagined. I know that i certainly have became a mentally stronger person with greater self confidence and dignity.

As i mentioned earlier, 2013 was SPM year. I don't think I have done very well for SPM and truthfully, i am TERRIFIED of what my results will be. Too many people with high expectations on me, it can be quite pressuring. But what's putting the most pressure on me is truly just me, myself and I. I can't bear the thought of having less than 9A+ because that would mean losing the opportunities to A LOT of scholarships. So I am just praying for the best. 😓

2014 hasn't really been kind to me either. Don't know if it's just me, but i certainly feel more stressed up this year. Maybe it's because of college, i don't know. I haven't exactly been the patient girl who could put up with a lot of crap like I used to be. I think all that crap has finally taken its toll on me. I am getting angry easily these days. Bad sign. Sigh.

So, yesterday was Valentine's Day. *yawns*. Helped to sell roses, chocolates and cookies for ALSTAR ( A Level Student Ambassadors) event yesterday. We are raising funds to organize a Senior's Appreciation Dinner for the ALSTAR seniors. I was actually supposed to watch movie with a few friends yesterday (Journey). It's a Cantonese/Mandarin movie but there were only front row seats left. So we ended up not watching and I ended up going home earlier feeling super tired.

That's all for the day. Goodbye :)
